Who is responsible for your information

Jules Pro Window Cleaning decides how your information is used and is the data controller for it. The quote form and the system behind it are run for Jules Pro Window Cleaning by a supplier, who processes the information only on their instructions.

What we collect

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your address and postcode
• Details of your property and the services you are interested in — the type of home, whether there is an extension or conservatory, and how you would like access to the rear
• Anything you add in the notes

That is all. There is no tracking or advertising on the quote form, and we do not buy or add information about you from anywhere else.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use it for one thing: to reply to your quote request and arrange the work if you go ahead.

The lawful basis is legitimate interests — you asked a business for a price, and replying to you is the obvious and expected use of the details you gave.

The form also asks you to confirm you are happy to be contacted, and which way suits you. That is there so we get in touch the way you prefer, not because it is what makes the contact lawful. You can tell us to stop at any time, using the contact address above.

If you become a customer, Jules Pro Window Cleaning may also need your details to carry out the work and keep its own business records, which is necessary for the contract between you.

Who sees it

Jules Pro Window Cleaning sees it. Beyond that, it passes through a small number of suppliers who keep the service running and act only on instructions:

• A hosting and database provider, which runs the website and stores your quote request
• An email provider, which delivers the message telling Jules Pro Window Cleaning you got in touch
• A text message provider, which sends the alert — this contains your name and number only

All of them are bound by contract to act only on instructions, and to keep your information secure. If you would like them named, ask using the address below and we will tell you.

Your details are never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with another cleaning business.

How long it is kept

Quote requests that do not turn into work are deleted automatically 12 months after they arrive. That covers a full year of seasonal cleaning, after which an unanswered enquiry is of no use to anyone.

If you become a customer, Jules Pro Window Cleaning keeps what it needs for as long as you are a customer, and afterwards only where the law requires it — business and tax records, for example.

Your rights

You can ask Jules Pro Window Cleaning to:

• Give you a copy of what it holds about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete it. Ask, and the record is permanently destroyed — not hidden or archived. We keep only a note that a deletion happened, with no details of who it concerned.
• Stop using it, or object to it being used at all
